JOB DESCRIPTION

Gather input and insights from various business stakeholders to guide strategic transformation and advocate for meaningful experiential change
Work with Product Owner to establish and track success metrics aligned with innovation and experience objectives
Strive to balance the Cost of acquisition and Cost of Servicing for a larger Addressable market and improved NPS across Merchant services
Comprehend customer-facing and internal process flows, as well as the associated technology
Recognize interdependencies within the Merchant Services domain structure and collaborate with the Head of Customer Innovation and Experience to deliver business outcomes
Contribute to feature elaboration, acceptance criteria, and definition of done
Cooperate with teams and participate in relevant agile ceremonies
Communicate and engage with business stakeholders outside of the team to ensure alignment and minimize context-switching
Address problem resolution, develop product collateral, and monitor results and feedback
Drive innovation by recognizing market trends, understanding competitors, and aligning them with business goals
Undertake other duties as required by the leadership team from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Banking sector, with at least 2 years as a Product Owner
In-depth understanding of financial services and the Credit Card lifecycle from various standpoints
Detailed knowledge of Merchant Acquiring/EFTPOS Terminal solutions or related business products
Experience with agile methodologies and human-centered design techniques
Proficient in articulating a vision to stakeholders and developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories, and goals
Capable of taking on leadership roles and leading workshops throughout different stages of development
Ability to innovate, adapt, and acquire new skills
Proficient in developing strategic product plans based on industry trends, market analysis, and customer insights
Possesses a structured problem-solving mindset with a focus on a test and learn approach
Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills for data-driven decision making
Experience with human-centered design, product storytelling, and product leadership
Familiarity with various tooling such as Clarity, Grace, Confluence, Figma, Fiserv product suite, and frontline banking systems
Tertiary qualified, preference for post-graduate qualifications
