JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of a Senior Digital Product Owner (DPO) involves collaborating with segment and product teams to develop new digital financial services across digital assets. This includes overseeing the entire product development cycle from concept to launch and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with business stakeholders and the development scrum team to define and clarify business requirements
Defining product and service vision and requirements based on customer and business needs
Driving project discovery and inception activities
Defining minimum viable product (MVP) for product launch and successive iteration
Leading agile delivery teams to prioritize backlog items, contribute to user story writing, and plan for sprints
Working with UXD, marketing, analytics, and research teams to identify customer personas and validate product scope
Regularly liaising with technical developers and programmers to understand technical implications and prioritize development
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand imperatives, analyze risks, and determine a strategic approach to product development
Ensuring ongoing support and maintenance to meet customer needs
Identifying hypotheses to validate customer problems and inform product roadmap decisions
Motivating and working with the scrum team on a daily basis
Seeking new innovative ideas and technology for project delivery
Participating in driving continuous improvement activities for the scrum team
Ensuring high standard work results and taking initiative in metrics and measurements of new features

JOB REQUIREMENT

A tertiary qualification in industry is desired, along with Agile Product Owner certification
Alternatively, relevant work experience can be considered
Should have a track record of effectively managing projects to completion
Familiarity with Agile delivery in the role of Digital Product Owner is necessary
Must be able to navigate through uncertain situations
Skilled in creating top-notch customer experiences and engaging customers, along with product development
Actively follows and incorporates the latest digital trends
Able to communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams for delivering digital products and services
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Capable of influencing and collaborating with challenging business stakeholders and technical teams while maintaining strong relationships
Strong business acumen, prioritize decisions based on data and business value
Experience in the financial services industry is beneficial
