Program Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our expanding team. This is a virtual work from position with preference given to South East Asian based candidates due to working hours but is open to all great candidates.
You are an experienced Program Manager able to come into an exciting fast growing startup company to work hard with us and make something truly special. 
You will liaise with the Technical Project Management team and support their role, understanding dependencies, timelines, and tracking budget execution. 
You will perform a company-wide risk assessment, focusing on business continuity and disaster recovery.
You are someone who is not afraid of hard work, and you aspire to work for a company that is working at the leading edge of emerging technology building amazing products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and ensure proper IT Governance practices, including program planning, budget control and cross-company technical risk log.
Own and execute project management duties, as expected. 
Support the Technical Project Management team on delivery activities and Quality Assurance.
Support the Product Management team, understanding user stories and their impact on overall projects and business ventures.
Research, learn and capture new DeFi technologies, propose ideas and facilitate change, where needed.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science.
At least 10 years of practical experience in Information Technology, working in verticals like Telecom, Fintech and / or Internet-based companies.
Proven experience in Project Management, Agile and Traditional. PRINCE2 or PMP certification.
In-depth understanding of agile software delivery, risk management, budget planning and control.
In-depth understanding of Software Engineering and CI / CD pipeline.
Knowledge of Blockchain, Crypto-Currencies, DeFi is an advantage.
Have ability to work under pressure, keeping the focus and attention to detail.
Have the drive to learn and seek knowledge.
Good communication skills in English.
