Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring delivery within defined scope, timelines, and budget
Act as Scrum Master for multiple teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting the adoption of Agile best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations
Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues to ensure project success
Foster effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Provide regular project status updates and detailed reports to stakeholders and senior management
Ensure strict adherence to GFT's project management methodologies, standards, and best practices
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and team performance.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is highly desirable
A minimum of 12 years of experience in project management and Agile methodologies, ideally within the IT or banking industry
Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and delivering high-quality results.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop project teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
Extensive experience in digital banking or financial services projects
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and associated technologies
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Banking domain knowledge is a plus
