QA Engineering Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a QA Engineering Manager, you will take the lead of the team of talented people, participate in planning, estimating, and prioritizing processes to ensure successful execution of testing activities for all AFS projects, you will help us continually improve the quality of our existing products.
Work with AFS leadership and product management to establish engineering timelines, specifications, and roadmaps.
Collaborate with your peers in Information Security, Site Reliability Engineering, Product Management, and QA to ensure that our software meets high standards for quality and security.
Build an effective test plan and strategy that drive the testing effort across multiple products.
Hire, train and be responsible for department staffing, personnel management and allocation of quality engineering resources to AFS projects.
Set quality measurement standards, create a testing culture to improve quality and build an empathetic team that makes AFS QA a great place to work.

JOB REQUIREMENT

5+ years of professional software testing experience managing complex software projects.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar field of study, or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams of people towards a common goal.
Experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar languages.
Hand on experience with automation solutions in multiple fields like UI, API and Performance testing such as Selenium, Karate, or Gatling
Experience with CI/CD like Teamcity, Jenkins or ArgoCD
Follow the latest in software engineering and open source technologies.
Communicate with transparency, clarity and establish strong partnerships with everyone in oral and written.
