JOB DESCRIPTION

Implementing Quality Strategy:
Prioritizing quality and speed to streamline delivery testing and optimize resource costs, making scaling easier.
Ensuring all team members adhere to quality standards.
Monitoring test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure they align with business requirements, including test management, analytics, and governance.
Promoting a Quality-First Culture:
Encouraging a mindset where quality is everyone's responsibility.
Leading by example and demonstrating how attention to detail benefits users.
Promoting open feedback and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Advocating Automation:
Promoting and adopting cutting-edge test automation tools.
Integrating automation into the CI/CD pipeline for faster, more reliable releases.
Staying ahead of trends to introduce innovative solutions that enhance efficiency.
Utilizing Metrics for Insight:
Tracking quality metrics such as defect rates and test coverage to measure team success.
Using data to identify areas for improvement and proactively manage risks.
Sharing progress, insights, and updates with relevant stakeholders to keep them informed and confident.
Mentoring and Leadership:
Inspiring and supporting the QA team for professional growth and excellence in their roles.
Cultivating a positive, collaborative team environment with shared quality priorities.
Providing meaningful feedback through regular performance reviews to help the team shine.
Building Inter-Team Bridges:
Seamlessly collaborating with engineering, product owners, and other QA teams to align on quality goals.
Guiding and driving the engineering team to improve overall product quality.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Experience and Skills:
Demonstrated experience as a QA Lead or similar role in a fast-paced digital banking or fintech environment.
Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Proficiency in Shift-left testing and Agile testing methodologies
Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Technical Knowledge:
Ability to proficiently test APIs, web services, and mobile applications.
Expertise in test design and Test Management.
Familiarity with testing Microservices, Event-Driven, Serverless.
Solid understanding of security testing and performance testing best practices.
Experience with tools like JIRA, XRAY, Postman, or equivalent.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
