JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for overseeing quality aspects within multiple squads or sub-domains.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish testing strategy and approach.
Participate in strategic planning for squad and domain delivery.
Advocate for and implement Shift-Left testing and Automation first.
Uphold testing approach, best practices, and adapt to global processes.
Address testing challenges and act as an escalation point for quality issues.
Engage in the software development process including code fixing, reviewing, and contributing to software design as needed.
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
Manage all testing stages and the SIT environment.
Define, monitor, and report quality metrics.
Oversee release testing activities and review/sign-off testing results.
Participate in QE recruitment and hiring decisions.
Contribute to planning and assigning QEs across multiple squads.
Cultivate a strong team culture and promote employee engagement.
Set QE goals based on domain and QE center's priorities.
Develop career plans and provide regular feedback and performance assessments.
Identify skill gaps and organize training to enhance QE capabilities.
Enable senior QEs to take on leadership roles.
Contribute to building cross-domain capabilities for the organization.
Drive and contribute to innovation in QE processes/tools and domain-specific innovations.
Support QE colleagues in staying informed about the latest testing technology trends.
Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by the leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Over a decade of quality engineering experience, including leadership of large teams and strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple quality teams in a dynamic environment.
Emphasis on quality mindset and proficiency in implementing shift-left testing approach.
Proficient in testing methodologies and practices for enterprise grade systems.
Capable of implementing strategies to enhance application quality at the domain level.
Knowledgeable in software development, design, and system architecture.
Proficient in programming with expertise in various languages including Java, JavaScript, and Python.
Skilled in developing automation architecture and frameworks from scratch using specific domain testing stack such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso, WDIO, and Rest Assured.
Sound experience in Cloud and CI/CD, including AWS, Azure, Docker & Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, as well as strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn and become a subject matter expert in the banking domain or related subdomains.
