JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop and train RL and imitation learning policies for tasks such as locomotion, manipulation, or whole-body control
Conduct experiments on physical hardware and bridge the simulation-to-real gap by systematically troubleshooting and adapting to different domains
Create and manage simulation environments and data pipelines to facilitate rapid policy iteration
Monitor robot deployments and analyze failure modes to enhance training
Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to grasp physical constraints and enhance policy robustness

JOB REQUIREMENT

Proficient in reinforcement learning or imitation learning with hands-on experience training policies for real systems
Comfortable working directly with robots, rather than just simulators
Skilled in Python and familiar with standard RL/ML frameworks (JAX, PyTorch, IsaacGym/IsaacLab, MuJoCo, or similar)
Possesses an empirical, debugging-first mindset and prioritizes functionality on hardware
Capable of fast-paced work and switching between research and engineering tasks
Previous experience working with humanoid or legged robot platforms
Knowledge of sim-to-real transfer techniques such as domain randomization, system identification, and noise injection
Contributions to open-source robotics projects
Background in control theory, trajectory optimization, or dynamics

You drive the step-by-step migration of our ERP from a single virtual-machine setup towards containerized workloads on Linux and Docker. You design, implement, and maintain agent-based deployment for both virtual machines and - increasingly - containers, making sure they are provisioned, deployed, and updated reliably. You provision and operate virtual machines, containers, deployment targets, and delivery infrastructure in Azure. We ensure disruption-free operations primarily through the right tooling and welldefined processes - automation, telemetry, and clear escalation paths - not through manual firefighting. This is explicitly not about working fixed shifts: it is about ownership and reachability, being there within a defined reaction time when problems occur, including on weekends. You take ownership of the reliable operation of our machines and - increasingly - containers, so that customers can keep working. You build the tools and processes that keep operations running smoothly and prevent incidents before they happen. You make sure that deployments and the cloud wizard (React) keep functioning correctly in production. You share responsibility for operational availability in a rotation with the team - the goal is to respond within a defined reaction time when incidents arise, not to staff fixed shifts. You help build the alerting, telemetry, and on-call processes that make fast and reliable incident response possible.
