Scrum Master

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client is looking for a Scrum Master to join our teams. You will be responsible to support and set the pace of the development Teams in Vietnam to facilitate and own the end-to-end delivery of our multiple projects. The ideal candidate is someone that thrives at managing complex stakeholder relationships, that is proactive in planning and forecasting upcoming deliverables. You will work closely with developers, senior technology leads, product owners and project managers in Vietnam and France.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Scrum Master responsibilities, including organizing and facilitating daily stand-up, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related ceremonies.
Ensure that the development teams are practicing/following core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
Help team members to use and navigate agile tools and software (Confluence, Jira)
Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs, recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice.
Assist with requirement analysis, internal communication, improving transparency, and information sharing.
Ability to negotiate priorities and timelines with stakeholders
Ensuring the delivery team commits to their definition of done (setting the pace/cadence for delivery and motivating teams to succeed)
Management of the Master Story List (MSL), ensuring it is adequately maintained, stories are up to date and ready to play into a sprint.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
Track and remove impediments for the team.
Empower the teams/squads to self-organize; improve their productivity and velocity.
Help squads identify gaps between current practices and Agile and Lean values, principles and practices.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Primary Skills: Project Management, Agile Methodology, Scrum
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a full time dedicated Scrum Master
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in product development/project management
Excellent understanding of iterative and incremental development.
Excellent knowledge of Scrum methodology, processes, and practices.
Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership
Expertise in Atlassian based Project Management tools (JIRA, Confluence etc.)
Expertise working with Google Suite / Google workplace
Nice to Have:
Bachelor Degree in relevant field (i.e. Technology, Business Administration, Information technology, Engineering etc.)
5+ years in product development / project management in different roles
Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
Preferred: Jira ACP-610 Certification or equivalent
Experience working with remote teams.
Experience implementing technical practices such as TDD, BDD, DevOps, Pair Programming.
Knowledge of other Agile approaches (Kanban, Extreme Programming, ) is a plus.
Phenomenal teammate with a forward-thinking mindset, ability and confidence to challenge the status quo.
Fluent English communication (TOEIC 960, IELTS 8+) and presentation skill.
