Senior Accessibility Tester


We can now meet the bank's demand for accessibility by taking on the role to maintain an inclusive digital accessibility standard across all their digital assets. Required tasks include analyzing accessibility gaps in acceptance criteria, providing specific accessibility requirements for tasks, testing on various devices and screen readers, logging defects, implementing best practices, and supporting internal stakeholders in digital accessibility.
The leadership aspect of the role involves encouraging open and honest communication within the team, maintaining motivation, creating a safe environment for learning and sharing, communicating a clear vision, setting meaningful goals for team members, and assisting in decision-making. Additionally, the role requires nurturing and bringing in diverse talent, problem-solving collaboratively, simplifying processes, developing the team, leveraging technology for product and service improvement, and overseeing administrative tasks such as timesheets and leave management. Furthermore, the role involves advising and taking responsibility for the team's goals, performance, development, and engagement.


Over 5 years of expertise in designing and implementing Manual & Automation testing
Proficient in accessibility standards like WCAG 2.0 (Level AA) and experience with accessibility tools such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and Talkback
Skilled in cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-screen reader testing
Contributing to the development and enhancement of internal accessibility testing standards and processes
Proficient in best-practice Accessibility, Usability, Inclusive design, human- centered design principles
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, and familiarity with iOS/Android design system
Experienced in leadership and mentoring
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
