JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated Automation QA Engineer who is dedicated to maintaining high quality and automation. The role involves ensuring the reliability of microservices and expanding product reach through the development and upkeep of a strong automation framework. This will include API and contract testing, as well as end-to-end testing between IoT devices and Cloud services, in order to ensure product quality and accessibility compliance, while reducing manual QA effort. Specific responsibilities include:
Creating automation frameworks for microservices and connected devices/cloud services testing
Designing and implementing advanced automated API tests using REST and gRPC
Implementing end-to-end automated test flows for IoT devices and cloud services
Establishing efficient and scalable testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD
Collaborating with developers to integrate testability requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Skilled in REST and gRPC protocols for API and contract testing
Extensive background in developing and improving testing pipelines for microservices
Advanced skills in using API testing tools and frameworks such as RestAssured, Pact, Postman
Proficient in multiple programming languages, including Java and Python
Profound understanding of various test automation frameworks
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Gitlab CI to improve integration for automated testing
Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
