(Senior) Automation Test Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Collaborating with a team to ensure quality in project delivery.
Working with Testers, Developers, and Architects to align solutions with project strategies.
Providing input for work planning and estimation within the Agile Product Team.
Analyzing and contributing to project requirements, understanding testing needs, and establishing testing requirements.
Using appropriate test methods to evaluate applications during testing.
Collaborating with the Agile Team to ensure effective targeting of test plans and cases at critical business and technical areas.
Creating, executing, monitoring, and maintaining manual test cases using test case management and automation tools.
Proactively reporting issues and problems to the team, logging issues, and providing software quality status updates.
Ensuring that the testing approach aligns with business requirements and Production strategy and standards according to agile principles.
Adhering to best practice principles, including source control, testing, development, and deployment.
Working independently, managing workload and priorities, and taking accountability for output.
Communicating effectively with all roles within the Agile product team, conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Taking responsibility for information security, data protection, and supporting legal compliance.

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
Proficient in both automation and manual testing, using various test case management tools and automation frameworks
Skilled in creating automated tests, including API testing, using high or low code testing frameworks
Experienced in requirements analysis and providing feedback in team refinements
Proficient in various testing types such as black box testing, functional testing, integration, system testing, release testing, exploratory testing, and cross browser testing
Experience in testing life cycle, including writing and executing test scripts
Skilled in planning, writing, and maintaining test suites
Knowledge of Version Control Systems (GIT)
Familiarity with MySQL or other database technologies
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle processes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and common platforms for implementation
Proficient in Atlassian based products - JIRA and Confluence
Skilled in BrowserStack
Strong verbal and written communication skills
