Senior Automation Test Engineer (Playwright)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Conduct testing activities to enhance product quality and collaborate with various team members to ensure successful product delivery.
Identify and address test automation needs systematically with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Automate functional, regression, and performance acceptance tests to improve test coverage.
Take ownership of improving end-to-end automated test coverage.
Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with the Scrum team to analyze requirements and offer relevant test recommendations.

JOB REQUIREMENT

4+ years of experience in automation testing and strong domain knowledge in web testing
Methodical and detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Dedicated to quality, with a positive and collaborative testing approach
Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies
Intermediate+ proficiency in English
Proficient in creating automated tests for UI and API
Expertise in Playwright using Javascript/Typescript
Experience in CI/CD (Apache Airflow, GitLab, GitHub Action, JenKins, etc.)
Hands-on experience with test tools like Mocha, Chai, TestNG, Jasmine, Nightwatch, etc.
Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Git, IntelliJ IDEA, soapUI, cURL, fetch, etc.
Sound testing experience including requirement analysis, test strategy, test approach, test plan, and various testing techniques
Experience in load testing and knowledge of performance testing tools (K6, Apache JMeter, WebLOAD, NeoLoad) would be a plus

Create the firmware stack for a new project from the ground up, including selecting the operating system, setting up the toolchain, and developing the board support package. Develop firmware for real-time processing units across the project's hardware platform. Establish and maintain embedded Linux environments for onboard computing, including BSP setup, device tree configuration, kernel driver development, and userspace/kernel interfaces. Create and maintain low-level drivers for various components such as actuators, sensors, IMUs, and communication buses (CAN, EtherCAT, SPI, I2C, UART). Design real-time control loops with specific latency and determinism requirements. Work closely with different engineering teams to co-design hardware and firmware interfaces. Develop tooling for firmware flashing, diagnostics, and in-field debugging. Set and uphold firmware architecture standards, code quality practices, and review processes within the team. Contribute to the hardware setup for new releases of the project, starting from schematic review through validation.
