Senior Backend Developer (PHP)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Building and maintenance (Software Development) of core PHP based projects of the company.
Writing APIs for our web and mobile apps in PHP (Phalcon,...), integrating into other systems, or consuming APIs.
Working on our existing PHP codebase, improving code, making changes and updates.
Reviewing our existing code base, writing tests, and performing code reviews as necessary.
Read and understand the requirements from the BA, from the Leader.
Develop applications on-demand, with deadlines.
Creating SQL databases and writing queries, participating in building, evaluating, and commenting on database designs, code,...

JOB REQUIREMENT

At least 4 years of practical working experience with one of the following PHP frameworks: Phalcon, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Yii2, Zend, …
Experience in solving problems and tasks of different complexity.
Experience building complex web systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
Experience in working with databases (MySQL, SQL Server,...). Ability to design a single database by yourself.
Know HTML, CSS, JS, be able to use available HTML templates.
Proficient in object-oriented programming.
Knowledge of Microservices is a must.
Knowledge of Message Queue, Redis Cache, ElasticSearch, ... is a must.
Know how to use Git for source management.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Work well in a team, but still have the ability to work independently.
Ambitious, eager to learn. Do not be discouraged by difficult and complex problems.
Ability to work for the right purpose, according to the requirements.
