Senior Backend Developer (Python)

ABOUT CLIENT

Our client is building data governance platforms using GenAI

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient backend services.
Collaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Develop and optimize database performance using SQL and best practices in database design.
Manage and monitor data transformation engines such as Airflow, dbt, or Dagster.
Create APIs that meet industry standards and best practices.
Implement measures for data security and protection.
Continuously monitor and enhance backend services for speed, scalability, and reliability.
Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
Document code, architecture, and design decisions for knowledge sharing and reference.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends for continuous improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENT

5+ years of experience in Python
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience with Django, Flask, and Airflow
Strong knowledge of FastAPI
Expertise in SQL database design
Familiarity with Docker
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
