JOB DESCRIPTION

The backend engineer is responsible for designing and developing complex backend technology solutions and maintaining new and existing systems
Working as part of the Infrastructure & Security team, the engineer collaborates with development teams to define requirements for reusable services and appropriate technology solutions for the business
They play a crucial role in setting backend standards for all development teams.

JOB REQUIREMENT

4 or more years of experience in designing, developing, and managing RESTful APIs
4 or more years of experience in developing in any of the following core languages: NodeJS /JS or experience with relevant frameworks
Demonstrated design and programming skills using NodeJS, JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, etc.
Strong experience in designing and implementing database systems with integrity, scalability, performance, reliability, and security in mind
Strong full-stack developer
Strong understanding of backend development best practices and standards
Strong leadership skills and ability to drive solutions
Strong understanding of CI/CD/CD
Strong experience designing and developing backend microservices
