JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking an experienced Senior Database Specialist (DBA) with expertise in AWS to join the team and support engineering and business operations. As a DBA, you will manage and optimize databases on the AWS Cloud platform. This involves collaborating, consulting, reviewing, and designing database solutions with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
The role requires expertise in AWS services, database administration, and data security to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of databases. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong background in AWS Cloud technologies and a passion for optimizing database systems to drive business success.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience working as a Database Administrator, focusing on AWS.
Experience in database optimization, performance tuning, and database security.
Understanding of data migration, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
Knowledge of scripting and automation using the Python or other relevant languages.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
