JOB DESCRIPTION

Create middleware/framework for SoC platforms.
Conduct Integration Testing, Unit Testing, Functional Testing.
Generate technical documentation and build sample applications for the product.
Work with various teams to ensure project completion.
Recognize, report, and resolve technical issues.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
Proficiency in C/C++ performance optimization, memory layout, and low-level hardware interaction.
Familiarity with Linux development environment and command-line tools.
Strong scripting abilities using Python or Bash; creating automation infrastructure for building and testing.
Proficient in toolchains, compilers, Makelife, and CMake-based build systems.
Experience in embedded software design, including architecture design, unit design, and sequence/interaction design.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in embedded contexts.
Ability to design and oversee IPC architectures such as RPMsg, D-Bus, shared memory, or remoteproc.
Extensive experience in multi-threading and real-time scheduling, including debugging concurrency issues in production.
Capable of reading hardware manuals, analyzing reference driver source code, and translating specs into software.
Proficient in end-to-end ownership of CI/CD pipelines, including integration with automated test environments.
Exceptional troubleshooting and root cause analysis across software, OS, and hardware layers.
Mentoring capabilities for junior engineers, including conducting technical training, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Ability to lead technical discussions with hardware teams, SoC vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Able to provide clear technical direction and design decisions without micromanaging.
Hands-on experience with QNX or FreeRTOS in a shipped product.
Experience in SoC bring-up, including IPL, U-Boot, and multi-core partition configuration.
Working knowledge of MISRA C, static analysis tools (Polyspace, Coverity), and ISO 26262 functional safety.
Familiarity with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or Automotive Grade Linux (AGL).
Experience in hypervisor integration, such as Xen or ACRN for mixed-criticality platforms.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive platform architecture.
HIL testing or hardware debugging via JTAG/trace tools.
Prior experience in a team lead or technical lead capacity.
