(Senior) Embedded Security Engineer – Linux / Android Platforms

JOB DESCRIPTION

Security Architecture & Engineering: Design and implement security features for embedded platforms, contribute to security architecture definition, and perform security architecture reviews and threat modeling.

Security Implementation & Hardening: Implement security hardening for Linux / Android / QNX systems, conduct secure code reviews, and support integration of access control and system hardening mechanisms (e.g. SELinux, AppArmor).

Threat Modeling & Reviews: Identify risks, define mitigation strategies, and drive security improvements early in the development lifecycle.

Testing & Validation: Perform security testing and validation, and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and best practices.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cryptography, or a related technical field

7-15 years of overall experience, with at least 2-5 years of experience in embedded software development, system software, or security engineering

Practical experience with Linux and/or Android platforms, particularly in BSP, middleware, system services, or other low-level system components.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including cryptography, secure communication protocols, secure coding practices, and security testing principles.

Hands-on experience implementing or supporting embedded system security features, such as secure boot, system trust mechanisms, secure storage, secure update/OTA, and secure communication between components or devices.

Good knowledge or hands-on experience in development with modern SoC architectures

Experience in QNX development

Relevant certifications

Good knowledge or hands-on experience in specific security areas

Linux / Android / QNX security development/hardening.

Network security, firewall.

Own the full agent lifecycle: prototype → evaluate → deploy → monitor → iterate. Build and maintain an evaluation pipeline to measure agent quality, catch regressions, and enforce deployment gates (golden datasets, scenario suites, automated checks). Instrument agents and agent platforms for production observability: structured logging, tracing, and metrics; latency and cost monitoring; tool-call success rates and failure analysis. Define operational readiness standards including: rollback criteria, incident response playbooks, recovery paths for common failure modes.#Team Enablement & Coaching Embed with product engineering teams to identify high-value use cases ready for agent automation. We will be operating in a Central Agent Ops role enabling Ai product builders through AI enablers.
