JOB DESCRIPTION

WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a variety of asset classes and global markets. We seek to produce high-quality predictive signals (alphas) through our proprietary research platform to employ financial strategies focused on exploiting market inefficiencies. JOB REQUIREMENT

Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript (ReactJS)
Expertise in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask and others
Demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software web applications
Experience with popular Javascript libraries such as jquery and NPM
Working experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience in DevOps: thorough knowledge in one webserver (Apache/NGINX/Tomcat eg. SSL, caching, routing,  HTTP/2, CORS, domains), monitoring, orchestration
Experience with microservices, caching tools, data visualization, log collection and aggregation, search, queuing systems, Go language or distributed systems is plus.
A solid background in Unix/Linux environment and Shell scripting
Finance Experience is not required
