JOB DESCRIPTION

WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a variety of asset classes and global markets. We seek to produce high-quality predictive signals (alphas) through our proprietary research platform to employ financial strategies focused on exploiting market inefficiencies. Our teams work collaboratively to drive the production of alphas and financial strategies – the foundation of a sustainable, global investment platform.
Technologists at WorldQuant research, design, code, test and deploy projects while working collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers. JOB REQUIREMENT

Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript (ReactJS)
Expertise in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask and others
Demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software web applications
Experience with popular Javascript libraries such as jquery and NPM
Working experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience in DevOps: thorough knowledge in one webserver (Apache/NGINX/Tomcat eg. SSL, caching, routing,  HTTP/2, CORS, domains), monitoring, orchestration
Experience with microservices, caching tools, data visualization, log collection and aggregation, search, queuing systems, Go language or distributed systems is plus.
A solid background in Unix/Linux environment and Shell scripting
Finance Experience is not required

Day-off: 15 days (less than 2 years employee); 20 days (more than 2 years)

Bonus: 2 – 4 times salary based on performance.

Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Creating the V1 Evaluation Platform: You will be responsible for designing and building the core backend systems for our new LLM Evaluation Platform, using Arize Phoenix as the basis for traces, evaluations, and experiments. Implementing Production Observability: You will need to architect and implement the observability backbone for our AI services by integrating Phoenix with OpenTelemetry to establish a centralized system for logging, tracing, and evaluating LLM behavior in production.
