JOB DESCRIPTION

Conduct research on new features, assess requirements, estimate implementation, and devise software designs.
Create and review code, and document solutions.
Design solutions while considering non-functional and operational requirements.
Develop and conduct unit tests and functional tests as necessary.
Take part in ensuring the quality of software deliverables.
Contribute to the development and upkeep of Platform test automation suites.
Aid in the preparation of release packages for customers.
Ensure continuous delivery of high-quality applications.
Adhere to established best practices and processes within the team.
Serve as a liaison between the Server and Mobile teams to capture technical specifications and design and develop APIs consumed by mobile SDKs.
Understand the vision, goals, and strategy of the organization and actively contribute to their accomplishment.

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 3 years of experience in frontend web development, with expertise in JavaScript.
Over 2 years of experience in web backend development, proficient in at least one of the following stacks: Java, .NET, C++, Python, Go, or PHP.
Genuine interest in creating innovative products.
Strong defensive coding abilities complemented by excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Goal-driven with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines.
Knowledgeable about Agile development methodology and common CI/CD practices.
A collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication within internal and external teams.
Proficient in both written and spoken English.

Staff Engineer, Firmware

Create the firmware stack for a new project from the ground up, including selecting the operating system, setting up the toolchain, and developing the board support package. Develop firmware for real-time processing units across the project's hardware platform. Establish and maintain embedded Linux environments for onboard computing, including BSP setup, device tree configuration, kernel driver development, and userspace/kernel interfaces. Create and maintain low-level drivers for various components such as actuators, sensors, IMUs, and communication buses (CAN, EtherCAT, SPI, I2C, UART). Design real-time control loops with specific latency and determinism requirements. Work closely with different engineering teams to co-design hardware and firmware interfaces. Develop tooling for firmware flashing, diagnostics, and in-field debugging. Set and uphold firmware architecture standards, code quality practices, and review processes within the team. Contribute to the hardware setup for new releases of the project, starting from schematic review through validation.
