Senior Fullstack Web Engineer

Our client is a startup company, building a trading platform with half a million users in 20 countries

JOB DESCRIPTION

We need a highly skilled developer to lead the front-end development of our web-based applications. As part of the role, they will work closely with back-end developers and handle occasional back-end tasks when needed. This involves designing and implementing user-friendly, high-performance interfaces, ensuring smooth integration with back-end services, and potentially contributing to back-end development to maintain project efficiency.
An accomplished fullstack developer should excel in creating stable, fast, and secure data exchange between servers and end-users.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining all front-end components for a high-performance web-based application.
Optimizing user interfaces for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
Collaborating with back-end developers on integrating APIs and services for a crypto trading platform.
Demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and understand back-end technologies as needed.
Writing testable, reusable, and efficient front-end code using modern frameworks and libraries.
Ensuring web applications meet the highest standards of security and accessibility.
Recommending and implementing UI/UX improvements for better user experience.
Proactively building internal tools or web apps to support business requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENT

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an explanation for not having one.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in React (Next.js).
Proficiency in Node.js, with knowledge of Golang or Rust being an advantage.
Proactive approach in developing necessary tools or internal web apps for business needs or internal use.
At least 2 years of experience working in startups.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Availability to address urgent web application issues outside of regular business hours.
