JOB DESCRIPTION

Joining as a backend engineer, the role involves designing, developing, and deploying backend services to address specific issues, with an emphasis on scalability, high availability, and low latency.
Driving efficient delivery of change through requirements analysis, definition, and documentation, while utilizing agile delivery frameworks to identify potential solutions.
Solving complex technical and business problems, and staying updated on new technology and frameworks.
Being a member of a team that takes complete responsibility for the features owned.
Assuming full responsibility for the full life-cycle of the product - from designing, developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, to continuous improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must have:
A practical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in software development with general-purpose programming languages.
Strong database and schema design skills for large-scale applications.
Ability to adapt to continuous change and a collaborative mindset.
Experience in Agile culture is advantageous.
Good English language skills.
 
Nice to have:
Experience in developing distributed systems and event-driven architecture using Java, Spring, Spring boot, Kafka, Redis, etc.
Familiarity with AWS, Ansible, Packer, Docker, Rancher, and K8s.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Strong English communication skills.
Previous work in the banking or financial domain.
