JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan, create, assess, implement, and oversee Java applications and services for production and pre-release environments;
Plan, create, assess, implement, and supervise continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and coding as necessary;
Engage in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with global development teams to construct scalable microservices-based products and APIs using Java technologies on AWS Cloud architecture;
Have a thorough understanding of customer or business needs and use this insight to develop applications aligned with those requirements;
Collaborate with delivery teams to accomplish development success through CI/CD and DevOps techniques, procedures, and tools;
Deliver robust coding practices, thorough unit/component test coverage, and code debugging.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Experience in a complex, enterprise-level development environment as a Senior/Lead Java developer
Strong experience in JAVA 8+
Familiarity with Java open-source frameworks, including modern frameworks such as Spring Boot
Proficiency in designing and developing $1ESTful APIs and microservices-based systems
Knowledge in Cloud computing and Amazon Web Services, particularly Serverless Development
Practical experience in Containers (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker) and FaaS (AWS Lambda) technologies
Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment
Proficiency in DevOps and Continuous Delivery
Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Git, Ansible, Jenkins, NPM, Gradle)
Experience in Agile development environments
Proficient in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable, and clean code
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Understanding of standard Software Engineering processes and testing
Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
Additional certification or training in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related area
Experience in leading and coaching at least one software engineer team on various projects

WHAT'S ON OFFER

This position offers hybrid working arrangements, with three days working in the office and flexible hours.
Salary is negotiable based on candidate expectations.
Employees are entitled to 18 paid leaves annually, which includes 12 annual leaves and 6 personal leaves.
The insurance plan includes coverage based on full salary, a 13th-month salary, and performance bonuses.
A monthly meal allowance of 730,000 VND is provided.
Employees receive 100% full salary and benefits from the start of employment.
Medical benefits are extended to the employee and their family.
The work environment is fast-paced, flexible, and multicultural with opportunities for travel to 49 countries.
The company provides complimentary snacks, refreshments, and parking facilities.
Internal training programs covering technical, functional, and English language skills are offered.
The regular working hours are from 08:30 AM to 06:00 PM on Mondays to Fridays, inclusive of meal breaks.
