JOB DESCRIPTION

Examine and interpret large-scale datasets and fraudulent activities to identify patterns, clusters, and evolving fraudulent behavior, including understanding the methods and processes used by attackers.
Collaborate with the mobile development team to create and integrate secure mobile SDK components for accurate collection of forensic data, aiding in the identification of location spoofing, emulator abuse, rooted/jailbroken environments, and other forms of environment manipulation.
Lead and conduct in-depth technical research on emerging mobile fraud and evasion techniques, and translate the findings into practical forensic indicators.
Establish and improve end-to-end incident response capabilities throughout the system, working with Data Science and ML teams to convert forensic insights into technical features, rules, and detection logic.
Offer technical advice and mentorship to junior engineers on effective practices in mobile security, forensics, and data analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Passion for security investigations: Strong drive to analyze incidents, track attackers, and uncover complex fraud, spoofing, and abuse patterns, with deep curiosity about adversarial tactics and evasion methods.
Professional experience: 4+ years of progressive, hands-on work in security, forensics, or offensive security, with a proven record of delivering impactful solutions.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Security Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering required; advanced technical degree preferred.
Analytical expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis (SQL, data modeling, feature extraction) applied to security investigations.
Technical breadth: Familiarity with data science concepts and the application of machine learning in detection systems.
Communication skills: Strong English proficiency, capable of documenting findings clearly and explaining technical investigations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with mobile development (Android, iOS, or cross-platform).
Knowledge of mobile security and forensics, including:
Root/jailbreak detection and evasion techniques
Emulator and virtualized environment detection
Location spoofing and geolocation integrity validation
Device attestation, Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), Secure Enclave, and hardware-backed security
Interest in incident response, threat research, and adversarial analysis.
