Senior Network Engineer

Perform operations and maintenance for network devices such as load balancers, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Manage incident and change management within the field and ensure professional resolution and adherence to IT policy's SLA.

Take technical ownership of networking projects to meet project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of business continuity and contingency plans including disaster recovery plans and emergency operations plans.

Maintain documentation and procedures to align with institutional, state, and federal policies and regulations.

Identify and resolve network issues to improve overall performance and reliability.

Utilize automation tools such as Gitlab, Ansible, and Python to enhance productivity, workflow, and technology deployment.

Drive continuous network performance improvements to support various business services.

Participate in business trips for project implementation and troubleshooting.

Participate in on-call rotation.

Maintain network and load balancer functionality through Gitlab Ansible while adhering to regulations and IT security best practices.

Support core business systems by addressing existing and new business requirements.

Provide consultation and troubleshooting with the Development team, leveraging network expertise to understand traffic workflow, application priority, and data transport as needed.

A bachelor's degree in IT or related field is required.

Preferred certifications include CCNA, BIG-IP Administrator, and CCNP.

Skilled in load balancing and web application firewall.

Proficient with build automation tools like Git/Ansible, Python, etc.

Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.

Minimum of 3 years working on enterprise networking, including familiarity with various networking devices and tools.

Familiarity with network management and analytical tools, and experience with Azure Cloud networking is a plus.

Experience with F5 (or equivalent) and Cisco devices.

Understanding of network architecture and fluency in English communication.

Knowledge of banking/card management systems, virtualization, information security, and ITIL.

Strong documentation, presentation, and analytic skills.

Ability to work well in a team and provide technical leadership and supervision.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
