JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Physical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation ASICs. The role involves overseeing the physical implementation of complex designs, ensuring compliance with performance, power, and area targets while following stringent design rules and verification processes.
 
Responsibilities:
Execute ASIC physical implementation utilizing automated place and route tools
Conduct floor planning, power plan synthesis, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, routing, and post-route optimization
Oversee physical verification signoff including DRC, LVS, ERC, antenna, and ESD
Facilitate communication and coordination across different internal support teams

JOB REQUIREMENT

Technical Qualifications
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Physical Design implementation, encompassing the complete flow from netlist to GDS, including Static Timing Analysis (STA), Physical Verification (PV), and Electromigration/IR drop signoff.
Experience managing complex hierarchical block designs or subsystems is essential. Familiarity with full-chip System-on-Chip (SoC) implementation or high-speed interface IPs such as DDR, PCIe, or UCIe is a significant plus.
Knowledge of advanced semiconductor process nodes (e.g., 16nm, 12nm, 7nm, 5nm, or smaller) is highly desirable.
Practical experience with industry-standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, such as Innovus, PrimeTime, and Calibre. Proficiency in scripting and automation is an advantage.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior DFT Engineer to join our advanced ASIC design team. In this position, you will take the lead in defining and implementing comprehensive Design-for-Test (DFT) strategies for complex SoCs and IPs.
