JOB DESCRIPTION

As the first product manager in the Cross-Functional Engineering Department, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, sales, marketing, and customer support across various ERP products. Your role will be to maximize the product value delivered to users of all ERP products, through effective product management, and coordination with all the product teams.
Specific Responsibilities:
Formulate unified product vision and roadmap for all ERP products, and for the Cross-Functional Engineering team
Plan initiatives to solve user problems
Manage product development and improvement
Direct development in collaboration with engineers and designers
Set issues, verify hypotheses, and analyze products
Execute marketing strategies in collaboration with business departments
Create requirements for product integration

JOB REQUIREMENT

Mandatory:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Over 3 years of experience in product management, design, development, or direction of back-office products or SaaS
Additionally, experience in one of the following:
Deep understanding and experience in back-office operations such as accounting, finance, billing, and order management
Deep understanding and experience in the inter-company transaction domain
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Project management experience in product development
Experience in Agile or Scrum development
Experience in formulating product strategies based on user data analysis
Experience in product development with overseas engineers
Language Requirements
English: fluent, both verbal and written
Japanese: NOT required, but having Japanese proficiency is a plus

Consultative Selling & Solution Orchestration Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions with C-level executives, VPs of Engineering, and Product Managers to understand their core business challenges, operational bottlenecks, and strategic aspirations. Collaborate seamlessly with Our Client's technical leads and Sales Engineers to architect tailored solutions, whether they involve custom software development, dedicated engineering teams, or advanced AI implementations. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, business cases, and presentations that articulate a clear value proposition and ROI for the client.#3. Pipeline Management & Forecasting Discipline Operate with a high degree of autonomy, meticulously managing your pipeline of opportunities within the CRM. Provide accurate, reliable weekly and monthly sales forecasts to leadership, adhering strictly to our established RevOps framework. Ensure all client interactions, deal stages, and next steps are logged with precision, creating a transparent and predictable sales motion.#4. Strategic Internal Collaboration Work in a tight-knit feedback loop with the SDR team to refine lead quality and optimize outbound targeting. Serve as the primary bioinformatics subject matter expert for engineering teams developing cloud-native bioinformatics software.
