JOB DESCRIPTION

Create and implement strong Python-based systems for processing and enhancing large-scale structured and unstructured financial datasets.
Work closely with quantitative researchers to convert raw data into high-quality, analysis-ready datasets that support signal research and trading strategies.
Establish and manage validation and monitoring tools to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Automate software development processes, including testing, deployment, and performance monitoring, to enhance system reliability.
Identify and address intricate technical problems related to data infrastructure and toolsets used by global research teams.

JOB REQUIREMENT

At least 4 years of practical experience in Python development, specifically in data-heavy scenarios
Proficiency in NumPy and Pandas for analysis and manipulation of data
Profound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming (OOP)
Background in constructing or upholding data pipelines, APIs, or services for data-centric applications
Proficient communication abilities in English (both verbal and written)
Familiarity with operating in Unix/Linux environments and distributed systems
Exposure to or interest in financial data, market signals, and quantitative research workflows
Familiarity with tools like Docker, CI/CD pipelines, caching, or queuing systems would be advantageous
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
