Senior Python Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop new features and enhancements on existing products based on defined requirements and designs
Focus on backend and frontend development, go-live/operational support
Participate in numerous activities for building software product: requirement analysis, UI development, backend platform building, API communication, database read/write, end to end testing.
Follow given procedures and instructions to produce well-designed, testable and clean code
Actively contribute ideas and efforts to product success
Perform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENT

Key requirements:
Experience with Python programming language
Familiar with building web applications at front-end frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS, Angular, etc.
Experience in Cloud (AWS)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong motivation to drive impact by making product improvements. Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders
Understand practices for high code quality: maintainability, reusability, code reviewing, unit testing, etc.
Understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, architecture patterns
Good problem-solving skills
Proactiveness (self-starter), good communication, and fast learning
Nice to have:
Experience in a microservice architecture (GCP, AWS)
Contribute/author apps or libraries on developer public community like Github, Gitlab, Chrome Web Stores, etc.
Education/training preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering
