Senior QA (Manual)

As a Senior Software Test Engineer you will be responsible for the quality process in projects. Your tasks will include test case design, test planning, testing of systems and projects developed by the company, test manually and reporting of test results. In addition, responsibilities will include working closely with the development teams, throughout the product development lifecycle, to define tests for functionalities and performance. You will also be responsible for development of test frameworks and mentoring junior testers.

Knowledge of various testing techniques and the ability to use them in practice (at least 4 years of practical experience)

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Hands-on experience in frontend, API and/or database manual test: MS SQL Server, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

Experience with defect tracking/management tools such as JIRA.

Demonstrated experience with industry standard Quality Assurance best practices for Agile and Iterative SDLCs, testing methodologies, implementation, and deployment activities.

Experience in every-day use of version control system (git)

Experience in testing in a continuous integration environment Jenkins/TeamCity, Maven

Basic knowledge of SQL

Working experience in creating test documentation (Test Plan, test report, basic test metrics)

Experience in working with requirements

Ability to effectively cooperate with the client and/or end users (in French or English)

High School Diploma

Minimum 4 years of experience as Manual Tester /Software Test Engineer

Excellent communication, motivational and collaboration skills.

Experience in performing performance tests using dedicated tools ( such as: Jira, JQL, Postman, etc )

Experience in performing usability and/or security tests

Experience in mobile and web testing, cloud migration testing or data integrity testing

Team leading skills

Ability to design test strategy for a project

Bachelor or Master's Degree in IT or relevant field

5+ years of working with software/web development teams

Preferred: French C2 or English TOEIC 650, IELTS 6.5+

Preferred: Relevant certifications (ISTQB, others)

Preferred: Experience with Jira and Atlassian tools

Experience handling multiple projects at the same time

Experience working with remote teams

Experience with mentoring junior testers
