Senior Software Engineer – System

JOB DESCRIPTION

Serve as a senior Technical Lead in a team building a highly performant and scalable cloud platform to enable AI teams to collaboratively develop, deploy and execute complex industrial AI systems
Own the overall technical architecture and design of the platform
Develop an Administration web application where AI teams can observe, debug, scale and manage the life-cycles of their AI systems
Design and implement cloud infrastructure components and REST-based APIs and microservices supporting the platform
Evaluate technical choices and facilitate code reviews
Develop new ideas for platform enhancements 

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must-have:
Strong leadership, collaboration, and alignment skills
Solid background in algorithms and software engineering
5+ years’ experience with design & implementation of complex distributed systems
3+ years’ experience with Kubernetes and related tools
3+ years’ experience with Microservices
3+ years’ experience with REST API engineering
Experience with web application development in Python and/or Javascript 
Experience with one or more public cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge of open-source tools like Istio, Prometheus, Fluentbit
Worked with ETL orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi, etc.
Experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch development
Experience with Apache Spark development
Programming language: Javascript, React Native
University degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
