Senior Software Engineer, Cybersecurity

Provide technical guidance and support to developers in software development processes.

Research and analyze requirements for new features, estimate implementation, design software, conduct code reviews, and document solutions.

Design and develop solutions, taking non-functional and operational requirements into consideration.

Review new build packages for customer releases and adhere to agreed deadlines.

Contribute to establishing best development practices for the team and provide input in scoping requirements for development and maintenance of platform test automation suites.

Conduct research to evaluate the effectiveness of off-the-shelf products in building a new system.

Immediately notify the Manager in cases where requirements are not clear, or factors prevent completing a task on time, or there is a high probability that the task will not be completed with good quality.

Maintain and continuously seek new IP/network technology trends and related spoofing for the products and assist in requirement gathering and compilation.

Consider scalability and hosting requirements of the codebase to ensure systems can scale cost-effectively and reliably.

Analyze critical production incidents, provide clear root cause analyses, describe mitigation steps and learnings in the incident report.

Ensure effective communication with the business team regarding key decisions made in the development process and participate in Quality Assurance of software deliveries.

Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new developers and actively share technical expertise with others.

Contribute to establishing best practices and processes for products and monitor and analyze the effects of implemented changes on the production environment.

Maintain a good understanding of the company's products, processes, and technologies and provide support for customer inquiries.

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products, processes, and technologies and actively contribute to the achievement of the company's goals and strategy.

More than 5 years of experience with PHP and Python/Go. Previous experience in leading technical teams is a plus

Valuable experience in cybersecurity.

Proficiency in researching new technologies, extensive knowledge of IP network/CDN technologies, creating specifications, and coding

Strong problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset

Ability to handle multiple tasks, coordinate with teams, and follow up on team members' actions

Excellent communication skills

Proficient in both written and spoken English

Sound understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

Solid understanding of relational databases, if applicable

Previous experience working in a multinational team

Familiarity with modern version control and project management systems
