JOB DESCRIPTION

Create, build, and implement adaptable features for our desktop applications
Work with product, design, and AI/ML teams to construct user-focused applications utilizing advanced models
Improve software and inference performance on diverse platforms and operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux)
Develop clear and sustainable code and engage in code evaluations
Streamline documentation, procedures, and systems to encourage knowledge exchange within the team

JOB REQUIREMENT

Demonstrated track record in developing and releasing cross-platform Desktop applications using Tauri, or comparable frameworks (e.g., Electron, Qt)
Proficiency in desktop application lifecycle, optimizing performance, and implementing user experience best practices
Practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines and current DevOps methodologies
Additional advantage: Expertise in designing cross-platform architectures (e.g., RIBs) and utilizing cross-platform build tools (e.g., Bazel)
Additional advantage: Capable of building and integrating native modules/dependencies (e.g., Swift Package Manager for iOS/MacOS)

Work closely with designers to craft thoughtful UX/UI - ship and own the basic experience using the design system, deciding when to bring in design to polish - and collaborate with the Customer Success team to learn how the product is actually being used. Bring a tester's mindset - testing is part of building, not someone else's job. You own the quality of what you ship and stand behind it.
