Senior Software Engineer (MCP)

ABOUT CLIENT

JOB DESCRIPTION

Design and construct essential MCPs
Take responsibility for the complete development of MCP interfaces, including browser extensions, embedded agents, and various channel integrations
Work closely with product, research, and design teams to incorporate natural, responsive, and intelligent agent behaviors
Utilize browser APIs, backend services, and task orchestration frameworks to assist agents in real-time perception, action, and adaptation
Contribute to shaping long-term architectural strategies and establishing engineering team best practices

JOB REQUIREMENT

At least 5 years of experience in shipping complex user-facing or systems software in production
Strong backend and/or systems design skills, including distributed systems or runtime platforms
Experience in building agent systems, automation layers, or orchestration engines, particularly in environments like browsers or multi-surface clients
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and ability to work across the stack, such as browser contexts, Node.js services, REST APIs, and WebSockets
Capability to design for reliability, observability, and performance under real-world conditions
Strong product sense and a focus on shaping user experience through your work
Bonus: Experience with AI agent frameworks, LLM-powered automation, or designing tools that interface with language models
Bonus: Familiarity with browser automation, extension platforms, or scripting web environments
