JOB DESCRIPTION

Analyzing requirements, converting them into technical specifications, and estimating implementation cost.
Making significant individual contributions, actively writing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
Participating in shaping the technical roadmap by identifying and prioritizing issues, gaps, and technical debt in the product.
Researching and evaluating new tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance the product and improve development efficiency.
Ensuring the product is technically prepared for future challenges, with a focus on security, maintainability, and scalability.
Encouraging a culture of ownership, empowering engineers to provide product development suggestions.
Providing technical input and insights to Product Managers regarding tradeoffs between scope, engineering capacity, and time constraints.
Advocating best practices and actively participating in code and design document reviews to ensure high quality.
Mentoring and supporting other engineers to foster their growth and development.
Collaborating with other technical teams to maintain effective communication and avoid duplicate efforts or incompatible solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Professional experience building complex enterprise web applications for 5+ years, with expertise in PHP and a focus on modernizing legacy systems to Golang-powered services.
Deep experience in implementing Event-Driven Architecture and proficiency with message brokers such as AWS SQS and Kafka to orchestrate complex workflows between services.
Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems and expertise in organizing complex logic effectively using OOP, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
Implementation of comprehensive logging, distributed tracing, and monitoring strategies to ensure system health and facilitate rapid debugging.
Focus on deep structural issues and root cause analysis to ensure long-term system health as part of quality assurance.
High-level understanding of the entire software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment pipelines and infrastructure.
Experience in designing clear, backward-compatible, and future-proof APIs and high-performance inter-service communication using gRPC and RESTful API practices.
Ability to make sound technical decisions, resolve technical conflicts, mentor other engineers, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive identification and troubleshooting of technical challenges using architectural foresight to avoid production issues.
Experience in PHP (Laravel 11.x), Golang, Python, and TypeScript for backend and actively migrating performance-critical components to Golang.
Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DataBricks, Grafana, Prometheus, and cloud solutions (GCP, AWS).
Bonus points for experience with strongly structured languages, cloud solutions, front-end development, and domain knowledge in online payment, eCommerce, credit card processing, risk management, or fraud detection.
