JOB DESCRIPTION

Contribute to design and input on system architectures and coding standards, while providing guidance to junior engineers.
Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure that software solutions align with business requirements and international standards.
Address complex software development and integration challenges to improve system performance.
Develop high-quality Python code and integrate diverse software components into cohesive solutions, with a focus on cloud computing and applications in life sciences.
Stay updated on new technologies and Python frameworks, especially in cloud computing.
Supervise testing, deployment, and comprehensive documentation of integrated systems.
Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including creating user stories and engaging in sprint planning to align development efforts with business goals.
Collaborate with multinational companies and demonstrate flexibility to occasionally accommodate different time zones.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Proficient in Python or other modern programming languages and their technologies.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. Knowledge of server-based technologies like EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, or EC2 is required.
Familiarity with both Relational and NoSQL databases.
Skilled in CICD tools to design and maintain pipelines.
Experience in Unit/Integration testing.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills for complex software development and integration challenges.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in diverse and distributed teams.
Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional proficiency in English.
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate collaboration across different time zones.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark, PySpark.
Experience with NodeJS or Go, especially in building APIs or integration with cloud services.
Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth2/SAML.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in MLOps, ML infrastructure, and model training is highly valued.
