Senior Software Engineer (Support Team)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Work independently to answer customer support questions, triage issues, and escalate where appropriate 
Determine the severity of issues, and decide if the request is actually a new feature
Communicate with stakeholders and support the engineering team during incidents 
Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for site performance and site reliability 
Adhere to key metrics and SLAs for support and operations
Love coding and curiosity
Able to lead and mentor junior engineers

JOB REQUIREMENT

B.S. in Computer Science 
Fluent in written and spoken English 
Experience with AWS
Ability to work well with people
Strong customer focus 
Strong communication skills 
Problem-solving skills and a logical mind 
Patience
Enthusiasm for continual learning 
Willingness to sometimes work unsociable hours
Ability to triage web software systems 
3+ years of experience as a software engineer 
Nice to have:
Experience with e-Commerce (preferred)
Experience working in an international company (preferred)
Experience with New Relic or similar software (preferred)
