JOB DESCRIPTION

Mission
Team Lead/Senior UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating aesthetic designs for completely new digital products of VUS.
You have to roll up your sleeves to work on an English learning product that will be loved by millions of Vietnamese’s parents and kids, all that start from sketching interactive and appealing product prototypes for usability testing, product MVP version design and flawless version mobile app ready for D-Day, and most importantly making it greater moving forward.
Responsibilities
Product UI/UX design
Collaborate and discuss the project with product manager to fully explore and understand the problem statements and business objectives.
Closely partner with product manager, other internal stakeholders, and engineering team at every stage in the product development process to ensure the implementation represents your work.
Work with wireframes, storyboards, and sitemaps to create user-friendly and straightforward ideas for products.
Design team management & development (leadership role)
Build up UI/UX design team and train other designers to ensure design guidelines and standard is consistently maintained and aligned with company’s brand identity.
Proactively get yourself updated and exposed to design industry and learning on the job regarding the best practices in user experience and designing.
Ongoing update and add to the company's design system documentation and processes.

JOB REQUIREMENT

At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design for Mobile Apps (preferred) with proven track record in both interaction and visual design.
Portfolio/ examples of design deliverables (required).
Proficiency in a dozen digital design tools (e.g: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Axure, or related prototyping softwares) and delivering pixel perfect designs.
Ability to produce UI/UX development plans including persona development, customer journeys, wireframing, concept and product usability testing, etc.
Ability to articulate design ideas and reasoning with customer-focused data insights.
Having experience or be familiar with educational products/apps before is a big PLUS.
Education & Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts and Design; Graphic and Digital Design is nice-to-have.
You are detail-oriented, well-organized, multitasking and able to plan ahead and complete tasks timely.
You possess an open and customer-centric mindset.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
You are a strong visual communicator and excellent at both receiving and delivering feedback.
You have a good command of English as you will be working with expatriate Product Development Director.

WHAT'S ON OFFER

Annual leave: 12 days, plus 1 day with 3 years seniority

Accommodation allowance: 5% net salary/month (pay in the end of each year)
