JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to join our team and take on the responsibility of building a high-performance, scalable WordPress site from scratch. This role requires someone who can create customized solutions using modern WordPress architecture, with a strong focus on performance, security, and minimal dependence on external plugins. From our innovative AI hiring tool to our fully automated payroll solution, every aspect of our Employment Operating System is designed to revolutionize the employment industry and improve the lives of business owners and entrepreneurs. Previous experience with WordPress is not a requirement; we will provide support for learning and skills enhancement in WordPress and Gutenberg after joining our team.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Demonstrated proficiency in WordPress and Gutenberg
Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Familiarity with JavaScript, especially React for Gutenberg blocks.
Hands-on experience with MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL, including optimizing queries and designing databases.
Solid understanding of Git and version control systems.
Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud-based deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Proficiency in unit testing & E2E testing
Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work autonomously or within a team.
Awareness of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous PHP development experience with a strong foundation in Laravel, Symfony, or other modern PHP frameworks.
Competence in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Some experience in creating custom WordPress plugins and themes would be advantageous.
Knowledge of contemporary frontend technologies like React, Vue.js, or Tailwind CSS.
Familiarity with headless CMS architectures.
Prior experience in a SaaS or product-based environment.
Experience in working with hosting infrastructure, Reverse Proxy, CDN, WAF, etc.
