Shared Service Center (SSC) Head

JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Shared Services Head is to provide successful leadership, management, and governance to the newly created SSC in Vietnam delivering effective, efficient, and value-added services, systems, and processes to the Group of companies that are directly aligned to internal customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership:
Responsible for the creation of SSC Vietnam and integration into SSC Singapore across all processes. Seeks and leads opportunities for continual improvement. Empowers and encourages people to develop in their roles and their skill sets. Leads by example and sets the standard for a positive, progressive, service-minded working environment.
Develops an inclusive environment ensuring all SSC Vietnam employees have a clear understanding of ST Engineering’s mission and vision. As part of the SSC Vietnam Head's responsibilities, the incumbent will also serve as the liaison for the organization with the local government, and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
2. People Management:
Motivates, coaches and manages staff towards the achievement of goals. Provides regular feedback, including documented performance management. Addresses poor performance and nurtures high performers. Monitors the skills required for delivering services, develops successors, and communicates organizational and functional direction to teams.
Business Frameworks: Supports the business through internal infrastructure/frameworks, policies, processes, and systems that maximize the operational success of the SSC Vietnam. Drives innovative approaches with a focus on process improvements. Ensures effective people and capability management to ensure organizational culture is aligned to performance and outcomes.
3. Governance:
Works with Singapore management to develop and implement plans ensuring the cost-effective and efficient development and delivery of services. Drives innovative approaches with a focus on process improvements. Ensures that SSC Vietnam supports the business operations through internal infrastructure/frameworks, policies, processes and systems that are aligned with SSC Singapore to maximize operational success.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Relevant and good degree in Accounting/Finance
Relevant experience in Shared Services environment
At least 5 years of leadership experience
Experience in leading a team of 50 people at minimum
Provides responsive and flexible services
Creates an accountability and "own it" culture
Innovative/Change agent. Experiments with new concepts and approaches. Comes up with creative solutions to difficult problems.
Data and SLA commitment driven
Continuous improvement and service-oriented mindset; consistently reviews processes and procedures to reduce delivery time, drive efficiency and effectiveness and improve client experience.
Broad and deep knowledge of Vietnam and its culture
Passionate Coach
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Vietnamese)
Preferred skills and experiences
Familiarity with SAP, Kofax and Hyperion will be an advantage
Meticulous and good attention to details

WHAT'S ON OFFER

We are applying hybrid working model, 2 days at the office. However, during the probation period, we request the employee go to the office 4 days per week.
13th salary
14 days of annual leave (to be finalized with the group to add more)
Full salary during the probation, full social-health insurance
