Software Development Engineer in Test

Creating and maintaining automation test frameworks for Web and API

Working with Product and AI teams to define quality metrics for AI-driven features

Participating in upstream processes to effectively execute testing and identify risks early on

Ensuring high test coverage across UI, API, and system levels

Creating test strategies and plans to guarantee quality and delivery speed at the team level

Implementing process improvements within the SDLC and "Shift-Left" initiatives based on bug trend and root cause analysis

Mentoring and supporting the professional growth of others through knowledge sharing

Backend: Ruby (on Rails), Go, Amazon Aurora (MySQL), Elasticsearch, DynamoDB

Frontend: ReactJS, VueJS, NuxtJS, NextJS

Mobile App: Kotlin, Swift, Flutter

Deploy/Build: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, GitHub Actions

Automation test: Autify, Magicpod

Others: swagger, Docker, Figma, Confluence, JIRA, esa

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field is a requirement.

7-8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and 3-4+ in Test (SDET) or Automation Engineer focused on Web or Mobile applications is necessary.

Proficient coding skills in modern programming languages like Go, RoR, Python, and Javascript/Typescript, with a demonstrated ability in designing test automation frameworks.

Strong command of English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Developers and Product Managers is essential.

Experience leading or mentoring a small QA team is preferred.

Prior experience in test management within a product team or Agile/Scrum team environment is advantageous.

Exposure to development projects for Japanese companies is a plus.

Familiarity with business flows in the Architecture/Construction industry is beneficial.

Prior experience in non-functional testing (Security, Performance, Scalability) is an added advantage.
