Software Engineer (Java)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Enhance existing services and build new ones to meet changing business needs.
Ensure high code quality through unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Contribute to design and architecture discussions, balancing technical depth with business value.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Analysts, Product Owners) across different locations.
Participate in code reviews and uphold development standards and documentation quality.
Support release planning, deployment, and post-production analysis.
Guide junior engineers and participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, microservice design patterns, and cloud-native practices.
Promote automation, CI/CD, and DevOps principles for improved development efficiency.
Proactively identify technical debt and suggest refactoring or optimization strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 5 years of experience in backend or enterprise software development.
Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful/SOAP API design.
Understanding of enterprise architecture, microservices, and design patterns.
Practical experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle).
Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork in diverse environments.
Curious, eager to learn new technologies and growth-oriented.
Proactive and collaborative, and enjoys pair programming and knowledge sharing.
Adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality software.
Good English communication, documentation, and cross-country coordination.
