JOB DESCRIPTION

Create system architectures, set coding standards, and build cloud-native solutions.
Write top-notch Node.js code, enhance system performance, and solve intricate software integration issues.
Manage the testing, deployment, and thorough documentation of unified systems.
Guide junior engineers, collaborate across teams, and ensure solutions align with business needs and international standards.
Actively participate in Agile software development stages, including crafting user stories and conducting sprint planning.
Collaborate with multinational companies, while occasionally adjusting to US and EU time zones.

JOB REQUIREMENT

8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering for Staff level, or 5+ years for Senior level.
At least 4+ years of dedicated experience in Node.js or Python and a deep understanding of their technologies for Staff level, or 3+ years for Senior level.
Demonstrated ability in building scalable RESTful/Microservices architectures.
Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, ASG, SQS, VPC, SG) and designing cloud-native solutions, including utilizing Redis and Elastic Cache.
Proficiency in NoSQL or Relational databases, with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability using MongoDB.
Capability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in Linux, with the ability to manage complex system-level updates.
Experience in Unit/Integration testing (Jest, Mocha, or Chai) and TDD practice.
Leadership experience in a fast-pace/agile engineering environment.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Problem-solving abilities for complex software development and integration issues.
Effective communication skills for cross-cultural collaboration, including mentoring less experienced engineers.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Willingness to work with colleagues in different time zones as needed.

Responsible for complete manual QA of web, mobile, and payment processes including functionality, integration, regression, exploratory testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop risk-based testing strategies for releases, including scoping, estimating, preparing test data, defining entry and exit criteria. Ensure seamless end-to-end flows across frontend, backend, and integrations with third-party systems, covering multiple countries, currencies, and payment methods. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, verifying payment lifecycle and handling of failures such as refunds, settlements, retries, idempotency, and webhooks.
