Software QA Engineer (Manual)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reviewing and analyzing requirement, technical specifications
Designing test specifications, checklist and test data
Executing web application testing: manual (mainly), automation, API testing
Reporting bugs into Bug Tracking System
Reporting test result accurately in timely manner 

JOB REQUIREMENT

University/College degree in IT
2-7 years of experience in designing and executing manual testing in web application
Ability to read and write technical documents in English (equivalent to TOEIC 500)
Age: up to 35
Good teamwork and communication skills
Good learning and research ability
 
Preferred qualifications
Experience in or knowledge about coding
Knowledge about API testing in manual or automation testing
Knowledge in Agile/SCRUM

Manual QA Tester

Create, document and implement comprehensive manual test cases for web and mobile (iOS/Android) user processes. Ensure new features align with functional requirements, UI/UX specifications and cover edge cases. Record defects with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots/video capture and assess severity. Validate bug fixes, regressions and rollback scenarios across different environments (dev, QA, staging). Test mobile builds on real devices and emulators. Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, address unclear acceptance criteria and refine user stories. Update and maintain test plans, checklists and traceability matrices. Provide stakeholders with daily QA status and release-readiness risk reports.
