Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions. Collaborate with other technology leaders to improve the technical direction. Advocate and promote best practices for Java. Demonstrate passion for Java and ability to implement advancements in existing or new systems. Lead training sessions to empower engineers with programming skills. Design, develop, review, and manage Java application code and services for production and pre-release environments. Create and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts and systems as needed. Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams. Develop scalable microservices-based products and APIs using Java technologies on cloud architecture. Utilize customer or business requirements to develop consistent applications. Work with delivery teams to achieve development success using CI/CD and DevOps practices and tooling. Implement robust coding practices, unit/component test coverage, and debugging. Perform other assigned tasks from leadership or authorized representatives as necessary.
