ABOUT CLIENT

Our client is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in the banking industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Evaluate business requirements and COM systems to create enterprise-grade solutions that prioritize technical excellence, security, scalability, and business value. Develop detailed design artifacts, architectural diagrams, and technical documentation to guide implementation teams.
Utilize systems thinking and design thinking methodologies to assess impacts across the COM ecosystem. Conduct proof-of-concept builds as necessary to validate architectural decisions and minimize implementation risks.
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and design decisions to a range of stakeholders such as Heads of Technology, Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Testing Teams, and Technology Executives. Serve as a trusted advisor capable of bridging between business and technical domains.
Advocate for platform-thinking principles by designing reusable and extensible solutions that promote consistency and efficiency across the organization. Offer strategic input to Technology Leadership on architectural direction, technical debt, and platform evolution.

JOB REQUIREMENT

A minimum of 10 years' experience in application design and development, and 15 years in Technology overall.
Proficient in stakeholder management and communication.
Extensive knowledge of microservices architecture, including designing in complex environments.
Familiarity with DevOps, testing automation, AWS cloud, and microservices APIs.
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript frameworks, particularly NodeJS or ReactJS.
Strong solution engineering skills.
Excellent documentation and English communication abilities.
Substantial experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems, as well as Event-Driven Architecture.
Previous involvement in designing large-scale systems.
Considerable experience with Cloud Services like AWS or Azure.
Prior experience supporting a production service in a DevOps-friendly environment.
Solid understanding of Application Security.
Familiarity with design tools and service integration.
Experience with SDLC.
Knowledge in Banking domain.
Strong experience in an Agile development environment.
AWS or Azure certification.
