JOB DESCRIPTION

Monitoring storage performance, capacity, and availability for optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting storage-related issues and providing timely resolutions to users.
Developing and maintaining scripts and automation tools for storage administration tasks.
Performing regular data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business teams under pressure.
Strong knowledge of storage technologies, including File, Block, and Object.
Familiarity with Linux system administration, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting (e.g., Rocky, RedHat).
Proficiency in automation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python), and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Terraform).
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols relevant to storage systems.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Self-motivated and open to learning and adapting to new technologies.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating storage solutions in DevOps workflows.
Experience with storage technologies (e.g., GPFS, Netapp, NAS).
Familiarity with cloud storage platforms (e.g., GCP).
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Familiarity with virtualization and Linux container technologies (e.g., Podman, Kubernetes, KVM).
