JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervising development teams in a local management role, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager in Europe
Setting targets and offering guidance to local teams
Ensuring quality in team development
Participating in sprint planning and retrospective meetings
Assigning and delivering development tasks as per sprint planning
Estimating complexity and workload
Selecting the most suitable technical solution to meet user requirements
Designing, developing, and implementing changes to the LIMS in line with customer and business user needs
Collaborating with other team members to support the LIMS
Working with other team members (Engineers/QA) to assure high-quality solutions
Implementing and enforcing good practices and high-quality standards

JOB REQUIREMENT

Experience leading a technical team in a local setting
4+ years of experience in developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (preferably Delphi 12)
Additional experience in using Delphi for Windows Services and/or UI Forms is a plus
7+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL for senior roles
Strong proficiency in server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Solid grasp of relational databases, such as Oracle 9i, 11c, or later
Proficient in Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban
Demonstrated collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architects
Some exposure to test driven development and test automation
Comfortable with unit testing and mocking using Delphi
Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
