Provide hands-on leadership to the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions; Collaborate with other NAB's technology leaders towards improving and fulfilling the NAB technical direction; Evangelise and promote Java best practices; Be passionate about Java and understand how to implement advancement for existing or new systems; Lead and conduct training to empower engineers on sufficient programming skills; Design, develop, review, implement, and manage Java application code and services for the production and pre-release environments; Design, develop, review, implement, and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any code as required; Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build scalable microservices-based products and APIs using Java technologies on AWS or Azure cloud architecture; Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this; Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, and tooling; Provide robust coding practices, solid unit/component test coverage, and debugging code; Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

Create target architecture, architecture principles, and technical guardrails for systems, platforms, and integrations Translate strategic objectives into specific technical initiatives and prioritize based on business value and risk Assess new technologies, platforms, and tools including their benefits, risks, costs, and strategic fit Develop solutions adhering to modern architecture principles such as cloud-native, Zero Trust, and automation Develop integration and platform strategies with consistent interfaces, API usage, and system integration Organize complex requirements into technical work packages and document solution designs Lead teams through critical implementation phases and make sound technical decisions Review architectures, designs, and implementations for consistency, quality, and strategic alignment Identify technical risks and develop mitigation measures Ensure comprehensive, clear, and updated documentation of systems and solutions Take technical lead on major incidents and structural problems Provide support for local IT administration tasks as needed Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, supporting individual growth and technical expertise Share best practices and experiential knowledge in a structured manner Identify skill gaps and initiate appropriate development measures Actively introduce and model modern technologies and ways of working Identify automation opportunities and implement them through scripting, workflows, or platform solutions Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and decision quality Promote AI competence within the team Evaluate technical solutions from an economic perspective: TCO, ROI, scaling costs, vendor lock-in Develop structured option comparisons and decision materials for leadership Identify cost savings through tool consolidation, decommissioning unused services, and cloud optimization

Defining and evolving the target architecture for Azure, including design, network, identity concepts, and Azure Landing Zones Implementing Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework Establishing IaC standards with Terraform, designing GitOps and CI/CD architectures, and enabling development teams through self-service platform approaches Integrating security-by-design and compliance requirements from the start, covering IAM, network segmentation, and secrets management, and supporting audits and security reviews together with InfoSec and Compliance Planning and accompanying migrations from on-premise or legacy systems into Azure, evaluating workloads for cloud-readiness, and applying cost-by-design principles to keep cloud spend transparent and efficient Reviewing and evaluating existing and new cloud concepts, contributing to architecture governance, creating and maintaining architecture documentation, and actively transferring knowledge to teams and stakeholders
